The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS), established in 1921, is a recognition program for students nation-wide who demonstrated achievement in scholarship, leadership, service, and character. West Middle School currently holds 90 members of the esteemed National Junior Honor Society (NJHS). These individuals exemplify the key qualities of a leader and continue to make a difference in their community and WMS through service projects. Each member chooses one project of interest; Gardens, safe routes to school, heart smart, as well as tutoring/ mentoring. |
