Scout’s Diary

Dear Diary,
Atticus was looking mighty fine down in the courtroom.
He had the Ewell family really jumpy.
The Ewell’s look like they don’t know what they are talking about.
There wasn’t any evidence or clues stating that Mr. Robinson was
guilty. I can’t believe that he
was guilty though! Jem is all up
tight ‘bout this trial. What’s
wrong with him? This trial has
really turned him into a man. Oh
well, all I know is that Mr. Robinson is not guilty because he’s telling the
truth. I know that’s not really
logical but I just know he is telling the truth. People should believe him.
Tom’s really not even upset with this, what’s wrong with him?
I hate how people treat others like dirt if they are not the same.
Hope the appeal goes well, I just hope to god everything will be all
right in the end.
