Pamela Alfieri is the Principal of West Junior High. Her thirst for innovative programming, high expectations for all learners, and working collaboratively has West Junior High embracing a Culture of Thinking. The concepts have been developed at Harvard University that includes thinking dispositions, thinking routines in the classrooms, making thinking visible, and the Artful Thinking Palette. Mrs. Alfieri has taught at all grade levels throughout her career and has provided many professional development sessions throughout the country. Her latest adventure was networking in Amsterdam with international educators from England, Sweden, Australia, and Amsterdam. Bringing global resources and ideas to our ever-changing educational pathway is very important and Traverse City will be hosting an international conference.
