Student Life
  • Timeliness Program:  Central High School is beginning a Timeliness Program this semester.

    • Teachers will continue to deal with students who are tardy through lunch detentions or other arranged consequences.  At ten (10) tardies in a single class, staff will refer the student to the appropriate administrative office.

    • The Administration will monitor student timeliness each week and when necessary send home notices whenever a student accumulates (10) and fifteen (15) tardies.  Note:  This is the total number of tardies a student has in all of his/her classes.

In an effort to promote timeliness, students who accumulate twenty (20) or more tardies will encounter a system of consequences that will involve in-school suspensions and/or loss of parking privileges.

Timeliness and “being-on-time” is a positive attribute for citizens and employees in today’s society.  Central High School encourages all students to be on time each day to each class
