Snack Suggestions
Whole Fruit (rinsed in cold water)
Hardboiled egg
Whole wheat English muffin with pizza sauce and mozzarella cheese
Applesauce cup (unsweetened)
Dried fruits - raisins, apricots, cherries, blueberries, dates
Granola/energy bars- these are convenient snacks
Fruit- Bananas, Oranges. Pineapple, Apples
Trail Mix- Dried fruit, nuts (make sure your child or anyone else in their class is not allergic), cereal, sunflower seeds, or whatever else sounds good!
4 oz. Cottage Cheese cup
Whole grain crackers (Low fat Triscuits & Kashi TLC are two varieties)
Pita Bread and hummus
Fresh veggies with ranch dressing
4-6 oz. carton of fresh drinkable yogurt
