Explorer Projects:
Kids in Mrs. Trapp language arts and social studies class have recently acquired a new project. They are supposed to research an explorer, make a costume, make a speech, then make a scrapbook written as if we were the explorer. In this assignment, students will design a map showing where the explorer went, make a time line, and write about some of their major accomplishments.
