Earth Day Poster Contest
Martin F., a 2nd grader in Mrs. Harmeson's class, was awarded an Honorable Mention Certificate in the state wide Earth Day Poster Contest sponsored by the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality. Several Central Grade students, along with most almost 1300 K-5 student wide, submitted entries. Martin's poster featured a drawing of the Earth with suggestions of how to keep it clean such as picking up litter, even if it isn't yours. We are proud of Martin and hope all citizens will try to keep our Earth safe and clean every day of the year.
