Computer Lab
All students from Kindergarten through 6th grade come for instruction to the Computer Lab twice a week. There are 30 computers that the students can use. Central Grade lessons range anywhere from basic keyboarding skills in Type to Learn to Internet research, Power-Point presentations, spreadsheets and graphs and many other projects. We also use MS Office, Open Office, Kidspiration, Inspiration, Edmark, Zoo Zillions, Sammy's Science House, Trudy's Time and Place and Heroes and Write On.
This year we have added wireless laptops to our school. We have one wireless laptop cart (COW Computers On Wheels). Now students can use the laptops to access any projects they are working on in the Computer Lab right in their classroom and teachers can have students use the laptops for research and other projects.
