Deborah Hissong started teaching at
Central Grade School in 1982. She teaches children who are deaf and hard
of hearing. She also taught children with cognitive impairments for
3 years. Ms Hissong has been teaching for over 30 years. She received her undergraduate and her masters degree
from Eastern Michigan University. She has two sons, Travis and Tyler.
Ms. Hissong enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also enjoy
cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, kayaking, wallyball, and yoga.
