Musical Enrichment Program
This is an optional music class after school for any grade. If you would like to join contact the office. It mainly works on children's' singing and dancing with a little bit of classroom instruments included. At the end of the seven weeks, they perform for the parents at Lars Auditorium.
The Monday and Wednesday program that meets after school from 3:00 p.m until 4:00 p.m. is made up of mostly first and second graders and they play singing games, classroom instruments, and folk dancing.
The class that takes place on Tuesday and Thursday is made of mainly third and fourth graders and they go further than what you can learn in music class and learn to play the recorder at a harder level.
There will also be a mini session after Spring Break which will be on drumming and exploring rhythms. There will also be a four week session in musical theatre. Go to the office for more information or parents can stop by on one of these days from 3:00-4:00pm.
